Our first family pictureI guess I'm a week late posting this, but I've so busy helping mommy take care of my new baby brother. He's a week old today, and so far, mommy says that he's an easier baby than I was (that's pretty amazing, since I was an angel baby). I think mommy is a lot more relaxed this time around. She's not nearly so emotional and knows what to do now when Henry cries.
I wasn't so sure what to do with Henry at first. I thought maybe his mom would come get him at some point, just like Eli. But after a few days, I realized that he's not going anywhere and he doesn't really do anything anyway. He just cries, sleeps and eats (which is with mommy, and so weird). I do help mommy burp him and I give him kisses, but other than that I try to ignore him.
My grammy is here for a few days so I get a fun playmate for a few days, and mommy gets to rest some. Some people think that Henry looks like me and some think that he looks like daddy. All I know is that he is so handsome! He has blond hair and blue eyes and long fingers and toes. Right now his cry sounds like a mouse squeak but lately he's been crying louder and longer. He hates getting into the car seat (but so do I) and he calms down once he's in the car. We love having visitors (me especially) so please come see us if you can. Mommy's not looking forward to getting out with just us kids but she'll have to soon or she'll go crazy.
